Thermo Vac, Inc is a manufacturer of pressure vessels, boilers and piping systems for a wide variety of services and industries. Our engineers and fabricators use the latest tools and processes to fabricate vessels, boilers and piping systems that meet the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

Our fabrication capabilities combined with our estimating and engineering expertise have allowed us to diversify our business for more than 40 years. We have the capability to work with many different materials and a wide range of dimensions.

A.S.M.E. Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Certificates held by Thermo Vac include the U, PP and S as well as the National Board "R" and “NB” stamp.

“U” stamp certification authorizing the manufacture of pressure vessels at our location. Pressure vessels are containers for the containment of pressure, either internal or external. This pressure may be obtained from an external source, or by the application of heat from a direct or indirect source, or any combination thereof.

“S” stamp certification authorizing the manufacture and assembly of power boilers. The S-stamp is for Power Boilers and applies to two types of boilers under Section I of the latest copy of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code:

Boilers in which steam or other vapor is produced at a pressure greater than 15 psig (100 kPa) external to itself.

High temperature water boilers intended for use with operating pressures greater than 160 psig (1.1 MPa) and/or has temperatures exceeding 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).

“PP” Stamp certification authorizing the welding, fitting, manufacture and installing of piping and components that attach to external piping used for power boilers and pressure vessels. The Power Piping (PP) Stamp is governed by ASME Code section B31.1.

“R” stamp certificate of Authorization through The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors for metallic boiler repairs and/or alterations at our facility and extended for field repairs or alterations.

“NB” mark Authorization through The National Board. The NB mark is used by manufacturers to identify boilers, pressure vessels, or other pressure retaining items registered with the National Board.
